WFRT® – Wafefront Ray Tracing Technology

We introduce WFRT®, “ Wafefront Ray Tracing Technology ”, the exclusive optimization model developed by ProCrea.

In the model the lenses and the eyes are placed at their respective position in the real world.

Along with the rx data, all parameters provided by the user are taken into account, including back vertex distance, pantoscopic angle and frame wrap.

A bundle of rays are traced from different locations depending on the gaze direction and the position of the objects in the real world.

The resulting wavefront is then evaluated at the exit pupil, at a finite size, and then optimized for the best vision quality experience for the user.
